About this game
The picture, cut up and put back in the wrong order. Tap two pieces and they trade places. Swapping rather than sliding is not just to be different from the other tile game — it is the move a phone actually wants: every piece can reach every other in one tap, so there is no manoeuvring, no shepherding a piece around a board, and nothing at all between seeing where something belongs and putting it there. What is left is recognition, which is the part worth having when the thing being recognised is her. No piece ever starts in its own place, so none of them is free. The first phase is six pieces and the last is forty, cut from the same picture, and there is a swap budget rather than a clock so a phase cannot be finished by trading at random. What is left of it when the picture closes up is the score. Eight sequences drawn at random each game. One thumb, a few minutes, nothing to install.
