About this game

A minefield laid over the picture. Every cell you open safely is a piece of her you keep; every mine costs a life and gives nothing back. Tap to open, hold to flag, and the numbers tell you the rest — some positions give you the answer outright and some only narrow it, which is the whole reason this game has lasted forty years. The field is laid after your first tap and never under it, so an opening move can never kill you: that is how the good versions have always worked, and none of them say so. Five by seven, so a phase is a couple of minutes rather than an afternoon. Each phase buries more mines under a bolder picture, and opening a whole region at once is worth more than opening one number, because working out where the region was is the skill. Eight sequences drawn at random each game. One thumb, nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
