About this game
Columns of three colours fall into a well over the picture. Three in a line clears — across, down, or either diagonal — and the cover retreats by what they were worth. The diagonals are why this is its own game rather than the falling-blocks one again: a column landed on a heap regularly completes lines nobody was building, so the good runs here are found rather than planned, and a single landing can set off a chain that opens half of her at once. A column has no orientation to turn, so the move you get is choosing which of its three colours lands at the bottom — one decision, taken every few seconds, and the outlined cell is the one it applies to. A phase asks for a number of cleared cells rather than a tidy well, so playing greedily is the right instinct. Later phases fall faster and ask for more. Eight sequences drawn at random each game. One thumb, a few minutes, nothing to install.
